Quick answer
- Steam: 55 achievements. 33 are hidden and show no description.[1]
- PS5: 56 trophies: 1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 5 Silver and 48 Bronze.[2][3] That is the same 55 plus the Platinum, "Wings of Theve". We checked every name against PowerPyx's list and all 55 Steam names are on it.[2]
- Xbox Series X|S: the Exophase tracker lists 55 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore.[4] On September 29, HowToVideoGame said the Xbox list was not yet visible on public trackers.[3] We could not reload Exophase on October 2 (it showed a bot check), so the Xbox figure has not been rechecked by us.
- Missable trophies: PowerPyx counts 0. Its note says "all trophies can be earned in Free Mission after campaign".[2] By the Book needs care, though. See the missables section below.
- Time to platinum: PowerPyx estimates 150 hours or more, mostly because of the 25,000,000 MRP grind. It needs at least 2 playthroughs: one on Elite to unlock Ace, then one on Ace with S ranks.[2]
- Hardest: Ace of Aces, an S rank on every mission on Ace difficulty.[2] On Steam, 0.1% of players had it on launch day.[1]
Global percentages below are a snapshot of Steam's page taken on Oct 2, 2026 at 10:30 Beijing time, the morning the Standard Edition came out. Deluxe Edition players had been playing since September 29.[1] When we reloaded the page at 18:49 Beijing time, the totals were the same (55 achievements, 33 hidden), but most percentages had risen slightly. For example, Inherited Dog Tags went from 90.3% to 93.5%. Treat every percentage as dated Oct 2, 2026.
Our calculation: how rare the list is
We sorted all 55 achievements into tiers by Steam global unlock rate: Common 50% or more, Uncommon 20-49.9%, Rare 5-19.9%, Very rare 1-4.9%, Ultra rare under 1%. These tiers are our own labels, not Steam's.
| Tier | Visible (22) | Hidden (33) | Total (55) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 3 | 7 | 10 |
| Uncommon | 5 | 19 | 24 |
| Rare | 6 | 6 | 12 |
| Very rare | 5 | 0 | 5 |
| Ultra rare | 3 | 1 | 4 |
The four Ultra rare entries are Patron of the Parts (0.5%), A Record of Rivalry, The Ace and Ace of Aces (0.1% each).[1] All four need endgame work: buying everything, every Assault Record, or Ace difficulty.[2]
The 22 visible achievements, by type
The descriptions come straight from Steam, and so do the percentages (Oct 2, 2026, 10:30 Beijing).[1] PS5 grades come from PowerPyx's trophy list.[2] The tier column is our label.

How to get the visible ones
All tips below come from PowerPyx's trophy guide unless another source is cited.[2]
- Yes, Sir! and All Weapons Free in one go: wingman orders are on the D-pad. Target an easy enemy, then press Down (Cover), Left (Dispersed Atk) and Up (Forward Atk). Also press Right to allow special weapons. When a wingman downs the target, both can unlock. More on orders: tips and PSM.
- Birds of a Feather: after the first copy of a plane, you can buy three more at a reduced price for your wingmen. Buying them unlocks it.
- Like the Wind: you need a plane that can do a post-stall maneuver (PSM), and it must be done in campaign mode, not Free Flight. The planes and inputs are on tips and PSM.
- Air-to-Air Ace / Anti-Ground Ace: in the loadout screen, special weapons with a blue missile icon count as air-to-air (for example 4AAM, 6AAM, QAAM). Weapons with a red bomb icon count as anti-ground (for example UGB, SFFS, GPB).
- Aircraft Annihilator: comes with normal play. PowerPyx estimates about one and a half playthroughs.
- Meritorious Service: the game has 29 medals and you need 10. Track them under Data Viewer > Campaign Data > Campaign Medals. An S rank on every mission on Ace counts for four of the difficulty medals, because the Pilot, Veteran and Elite medals accept a higher difficulty.
- A Record of Rivalry: 83 enemy pilots appear in the Assault Records screen. The last 31 are named Aces with special spawn conditions. They only appear on Veteran or higher, and a kill counts only if you then complete the mission. The per-mission triggers are on S rank requirements.
- The Ace / Ace of Aces: clear the campaign on Elite to unlock Ace difficulty, then finish the campaign on Ace. Ace of Aces needs an S rank on all 30 missions on Ace, and Free Mission replays count. See Ace difficulty unlock.
- Need A Bigger Bank / MRP Aplenty: these are lifetime totals that count across all playthroughs. A full campaign pays 3-4 million MRP. Routes: MRP farm.
- Patron of the Parts / Fully Kitted Out / Regular Customer: buy everything in the Aircraft Tree: planes, special weapons and parts. Prices: aircraft tree unlocks.
- Welcome to Boot Camp: pick Training from a mission menu and clear any training mission. It also pays 1,000 MRP.
- Aircraft Inspection: Campaign menu > Data Viewer > Aircraft Viewer, then view any aircraft.
- Birdwatching: after a mission, open Data Viewer > Replay Viewer and watch the saved replay.
- Plane Coordinator: finishing the campaign once unlocks Aircraft Sets on the mission menu. Open a slot, choose Select Skin and pick any skin. HowToVideoGame cites a CGMagazine report that skin and emblem editing opens only after the campaign ends (or in online play), so this one comes late.[3]
The 33 hidden achievements
Spoiler note: the names of hidden story achievements may hint at later story events. We list only names, mission numbers and percentages. There are no mission titles or plot details here.
Steam shows no description for these 33.[1] The What unlocks it column comes from the PS5 trophy descriptions as listed by PowerPyx.[2] HowToVideoGame gives the same breakdown of the hidden set: the Prologue, the 30 missions, Promised Land and Ace of Aces.[3] All 33 are Bronze on PS5, except Promised Land (Silver) and Ace of Aces (Gold).[2]
The last column is our calculation: the mission's global % divided by the Prologue's 90.3%. It gives a rough idea of how far players had got by launch morning.
| Hidden achievement | What unlocks it | Global % | Tier | % of Prologue finishers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inherited Dog Tags | Clear the Prologue | 90.3% | Common | 100% |
| Expulsion | Clear Mission 01 | 86.9% | Common | 96% |
| World Left Behind | Clear Mission 02 | 80.8% | Common | 89% |
| Birth of an Ace | Clear Mission 03 | 71.5% | Common | 79% |
| Relentless | Clear Mission 04 | 63.9% | Common | 71% |
| From the Brink | Clear Mission 05 | 58.2% | Common | 64% |
| Fireworks | Clear Mission 06 | 53.5% | Common | 59% |

| Rainband Breakthrough | Clear Mission 10 | 39.3% | Uncommon | 44% |
| Downing Giants | Clear Mission 11 | 37.2% | Uncommon | 41% |
| Suspicion | Clear Mission 12 | 36.4% | Uncommon | 40% |

| Armor Penetration | Clear Mission 17 | 28.9% | Uncommon | 32% |
| Sudden Dive | Clear Mission 18 | 28.0% | Uncommon | 31% |
| Light | Clear Mission 19 | 26.7% | Uncommon | 30% |
| The Courier | Clear Mission 20 | 25.1% | Uncommon | 28% |
| On Cloud Nine | Clear Mission 21 | 24.1% | Uncommon | 27% |
| Good News from Space | Clear Mission 22 | 23.2% | Uncommon | 26% |
| The End in the East | Clear Mission 23 | 22.0% | Uncommon | 24% |
| Securing a Beachhead | Clear Mission 24 | 21.0% | Uncommon | 23% |
| Freeing Usea | Clear Mission 25 | 20.0% | Uncommon | 22% |
| Nightmare | Clear Mission 26 | 18.7% | Rare | 21% |
| Troop Rallier | Clear Mission 27 | 17.7% | Rare | 20% |
| Wings Upon Wings | Clear Mission 28 | 16.7% | Rare | 18% |
| The Anemone | Clear Mission 29 | 16.0% | Rare | 18% |
| The Real Wings | Clear Mission 30 | 15.5% | Rare | 17% |
| Promised Land | Finish the whole campaign, any difficulty | 15.5% | Rare | 17% |
| Ace of Aces | S rank on every mission on Ace (Free Mission counts) | 0.1% | Ultra rare | under 1% |
Our calculation: 15.5 ÷ 90.3 ≈ 17%. On launch morning, about one in six Steam players who had cleared the Prologue had also finished the campaign. The Deluxe early-access window had lasted about three days at that point.
The mission names behind these numbers are on our missions list. Mission 28 is also the main MRP farm: see MRP farm.
Missables and the By the Book catch
PowerPyx lists 0 missable trophies. It points to Free Mission, where you can replay any mission at any unlocked difficulty after the campaign.[2] Two things to know:
- By the Book is tied to a campaign run. Steam describes it as completing campaign mode with all takeoffs and aerial refuelings done.[1] PowerPyx's advice is never to hold the skip button on takeoffs, landings or refuelings. The trophy then pops as you take off for the final mission.[2] We found no source we could read that says whether a skipped segment can be made up in Free Mission. If you skip one, assume you may need another campaign run. That is our reading, not a confirmed rule.
- Our calculation from the Steam snapshot: By the Book (15.4%) is held by almost as many players as Promised Land (15.5%). 15.4 ÷ 15.5 ≈ 99%. Since the trophy requires a finished campaign, very few campaign finishers missed it.[1]
Other platinum facts from PowerPyx: there are no online trophies, Enemy Aces only appear on Veteran or higher, and the game uses autosave only, with no manual saves.[2]
Our calculation: the MRP trophies set the platinum length
PowerPyx blames its 150+ hour estimate on the 25,000,000 MRP target. It also says a full campaign pays 3-4 million MRP.[2]
- 25,000,000 ÷ 4,000,000 = 6.3 full campaigns
- 25,000,000 ÷ 3,000,000 = 8.3 full campaigns
On launch day only 1.6% of Steam players had MRP Aplenty, and 1.7% had Need A Bigger Bank (16,000,000).[1] For faster routes than repeating whole campaigns, see MRP farm.
Not confirmed yet
- A measured time for 100% on Steam or Xbox. The 150-hour figure is PowerPyx's platinum estimate.[2]
- Whether online play counts toward the two MRP trophies. None of the trophy descriptions mentions ACE COMBAT ONLINE.[3]
- A recheck of the Xbox list (55 / 1,000G) by us. See the Quick answer.
