Quick answer
Mission 16 is "Singer" (Operation Lighthouse Lady), set in Selatapura.[1][2] It has no mission medal.[1]
Its optional enemy Ace is Currus, flying an F-16C Fighting Falcon. Currus "Appears when the UAVs are launched".[3]
Clearing the mission earns the Bronze story trophy Watching Eye.[4]
Mission 16 at a glance
| Item | Mission 16 |
|---|---|
| Mission name | Singer[1][5][2] |
| Operation | Lighthouse Lady[1][5][2] |
| Location | Selatapura. Mission 19, Clearing the Lighthouse, returns here.[2] |
| Mission medal | None[1] |
| Story trophy | Watching Eye (Bronze), on any difficulty[4] |
| Enemy Ace | Currus, F-16C Fighting Falcon[3] |
| Comes after / before | Mission 15, Wings of Wax / Mission 17, Land Battleship No. 3[1] |
How to get Currus: the steps in order
- Play on Veteran or higher. Named Aces only spawn on Veteran difficulty or above.[1]
- Wait for the UAV launch. Currus appears when the UAVs are launched.[3]
- Shoot down Currus, then finish the mission. The kill only counts toward your Assault Records if you complete the mission after it.[1]
- Reward: downing one of the conditional enemy Aces also unlocks a unique paint scheme for that Ace's aircraft type, for use in the campaign.[3] For Currus, that is the F-16C.
If you miss Currus, replay Mission 16 in Free Mission after your first campaign clear. Free Mission runs on any difficulty you have unlocked.[1]
Mission 16 and S rank
- PowerPyx's S-rank guide puts an enemy Ace kill at "around 2000 points each".[6]
- A no-damage run adds a 5,000-point bonus. A checkpoint restart after a death costs points.[6]
- As of October 1, 2026, PowerPyx's Ace-difficulty S-rank walkthrough has only a video for Mission 16, with no written route.[6] The exact S-rank score for Mission 16 is not confirmed in any written source we could check.
